Exploring Ontario's Southwest
One thing that our young & free press team has learned since we started-up the business is that there are remarkable things happening every day in our communities … we just have to jump in and explore! Well, we now have the opportunity to take this spirit to a whole new level: beginning this spring, we will be collaborating with the Southwest Ontario Tourism Corporation to present some fun new content on our Instagram page! Here are the details …
First, we will be producing a series of segments titled ‘Hop, Skip & a Jump’, in which we highlight three things to do in various cities, towns and villages in Ontario’s Southwest. In addition to our home-base of London, St. Thomas and Elgin County, we will be making trips to Chatham-Kent, Oxford County, Norfolk County, Haldimand County, Sarnia-Lambton, Middlesex County and Windsor-Essex-Pelee Island. Restaurants, shops, parks, galleries, music venues, entertainment centres, coffee bars, adventure-tourism destinations, farmers’ markets, beaches and event spaces … we’ll find all the cool places! We are really looking forward to meeting lots of new people and discovering beautiful and exciting spots around the region.
Second – and for something entirely new – we will be introducing ‘The Teenager’s Guide to Ontario’s Southwest’, focussing on what teenagers want to see and do! Our team of teenage journalists and micro-influencers, including Maddie King, Jenn Klassen, Alex Popen and Emily Stage, will bring an undeniably fresh perspective to the area.
